My first full time job was at Ertel Manufacturing in Indianapolis. Ran piece work on lathes and borematics. Changed jobs in 1963 going to Bryant Heating and Cooling as an Inspector. It's now called UTC Carrier. After 35 years, I retired from there in December 1998. During my last 7 years there I also became a part-time Realtor. After retirement I set up business in my home and continue to enjoyed Real Estate Profession.
Hobbies
Started racing Motorcycles in 1966. I turned Professional in 1968 running American Motorcycle Association 1/2 mile flat tracks. Motorcycle racing came to an end when I retired in 1972. I was elected as V-President of competition for the AMA District 15 Club Council and sat on the amateur rule's committee as AMA Congressperson until 1975. Found another sport I enjoyed in 1982 called horseshoe pitching. I became interested in the sport about a year later. Served as league Public Relations Director till 1985 when I started the Sheridan Mixed League. Elected 1st V-President of the American Horseshoe Pitchers Association in 1987. President 1988 - 1995, reelected for 2001, 2002, placed on Board of Directors 1995 - 1999, and Public Relation Director from 1997 to 1999. Designed the Tournament of Champions in 1987.
